Ever make a final image, post it on Astrobin, then pull it down because you did a better rendition? That is the situation with this image.
Between the time I posted the first version (now at https://astrob.in/rmhaej/0/), which I liked at the time, and this reprocessed version, I did considerable reading and experimenting with the PI tool RGBWS and researched the effects of adding the L master to RGB—the effects are not necessarily sound!
The research was worth the effort as it motivated much adjusting of the RGBWS parameters and the discarding of the L data, both of which facilitated a much-improved result. I hope you think so too.
